Opera activities:
1994 - soloist of the State Musical Theater "Saint-Petersburg opera".
In the 1994/1995 concert season alone he interpreted part Rudolf in
"La Boheme" with conductor Maris Yansons.
1996 - soloist of the Mariinsky (Kirov) theater, where performs opera
parts: Andrei in "Mazepa" by Tchaikovsky, Finn in "Ruslan and Ludmila"
by Glinka, Samozvanyets and Shuisky in "Boris Godunov" by Musorsky,
Andrei Hovansky in "Hovanschina" by Mussorgsky, Goryachiy in "The gambler"
by Prokofiev, "The Fiery Angel" by Prokofiev, "Salome" by Strauss with
conductor V.Gergiev.
Since 1996 he has been touring with Mariinsky Opera Theater to Finland,
USA (Metropolitan Opera), France, Italy, Germany, Spain. As solo singer
he has been touring to Poland, Great Britain, Czech republic, Belgium.
1998 - he recorded CD "Wedding in the Monastery" by Prokofiev - Elustaf
(Philips).
1998 - principal soloist Czech National Opera, Prague, where took part
in a premieres of operas: "Pikovaya dama" by Tchaikovsky (German), "Carmen"
by Bizet (Jose), "Pagliaci" by Leoncavallo (Canio).
Sergej Ljadov performed with following conductors: I.Belohlavek, V.Gergiev,
B.Kulinski, R.Martinov, D.Nozeda, A.Polyanitchko, M.Yansons.
Besides work at opera theaters Sergej Ljadov concertizes, and this
activity is intensive and diversified. He has recordings on the Russian
and Czechia Radio and TV.
