Personal

 

Sergei Roldugin was born in 1951 in Sakhalin, USSR. At the age of five he began playing the piano and at eight the cello. Currently, there are main works of the Classic & Contemporary Composers are included in his repertoire. He has recorded at various studios to include: "Melodia" and "Philips" Studios. He has performed on foreign, as well as, Russia Radio and Television. The Conductors which Roldugin play with are: GERGIEW, ARVID and MARIS JANSONS, TEMIRKANOV, RABINS, SONDECKIS, MELJA, WEDER, RINKAVICHUS, LASAREW, TITOV etc.
