 Olga
Shevelevich was born in 1969 in St.Petersburg, Russia.
In 1988 simultaneously with the beginning of study in The St.Petersburg
conservatoire Olga was invited to the Orchestra of Mariinsky (Kirov)
State Opera & Ballet House, where she performed up to now as soloist.
In 1994 she graduated from the St.Petersburg Conservatoire (with Prof.
Varosyan).
Olga Shevelevich performed with Mariinsky theatre orchestra in USA,
Canada, Mexico, Japan, Israel, France, Great Britain, Germany, Austria,
Holland, Italy etc.
Besides work at Orchestra of Mariinsky (Kirov) theater Olga Shevelevich
concertizes, and this activity is intensive and diversified. Olga
performs in prestigious St.Petersburg's concert halls as solo and
ensemble harpist: The Chamber hall of St. Petersburg Philharmonic,
The Hermitage Theater, The Yusupov Palace, The Beloselsky-Belozersky
Palace, The St.Petersburg Conservatory etc.
In 1993 Olga took part in Fifth World Harp Congress in Copenhagen
(Denmark), where she performed in a concert Focus on Youth.
