Reviews
Andrei
Slavny is master of his voice. His powerful baritone sounds magnificently
in all registers: it is as strong as steel when forte and tender as silk
when piano. It can deliver the most delicate emotions.
13.3.92.
"Bergens Tidende",
Norway
Hardly
can any other singer be found who would be equal to him as to the sincerity
and power of expressing feelings, to the skill of controlling the voice,
which is as deep and warm as a tropical clear night.
7.12.90.
"Fyens Stiftstidende",
Denmark
The
intelligence of his singing is amazing. His voice always sounds evenly.
Every phrase very distinctive and expressive. Words in any language are
pronounced correctly and elegantly... Flexibility of his voice, the beauty
of its high notes, the diversity of colors and shades he can produce are
very impressive.
28.1.92.
"The Neva Time", St.Petersburg, Russia
St.Petersburg
has got an outstanding kammersinger. His easy manner
of vocalization is reminiscent
of Ditrich Fischer-Dieskau's style.
12.11.91.
"Smena",
St.Petersburg, Russia
He
is a singer, generously endowed by nature with beautiful voice, the
of an actor and extremely sensitive soul.
6.11.90.
"Rigas Balss",
Latvia
In
his concerts we can often admire music never performed by any others.
15.1.92.
